Straight answers before you install.

Review what Lurker can observe, what remains manual, how current plans differ, and which operational limits matter.

Does Lurker post or message on Facebook for me?

No. Lurker can surface eligible visible content and provide review assistance, but it does not post, comment, react, message, join groups, or automate Facebook login. A person decides whether and how to respond.

What Facebook content can Lurker process?

Lurker can evaluate eligible visible content from supported Facebook group, notification, and post pages opened in your Chrome session. This can include visible post text, eligible visible comments, notification text, group names, post URLs, timestamps, and related context.

Does Lurker collect my Facebook password or cookies?

No. Lurker does not collect Facebook passwords, cookies, access tokens, hidden session storage, private messages, or browser profile archives.

What is included in the Free plan?

The current Free plan is $0 per month and supports keyword watch for 1 watched group, 5 positive keywords, 5 negative keywords, and 7 days of decision history. No card is required to start.

How do Watcher, Pro AI, and Engage differ?

Watcher is $9.99 per month and expands keyword-only capacity. Pro AI is $29 per month and adds company-aware review, supported media suggestions, and 150 monthly AI opportunity analyses. Engage is $199 per month and adds higher limits plus company-context reply assistance. The app shows the authoritative limits for your workspace.

Is human review required?

Yes. Lurker is an operator-assist workflow. A person reviews surfaced opportunities, controls any draft or approved media, and makes every response in Facebook.

Will Lurker find every relevant post?

No. Coverage depends on Chrome, open supported tabs, watcher health, user settings, Facebook page behavior, and product maturity. Lurker is review assistance, not guaranteed monitoring coverage.

What happens when I choose a paid plan?

Lurker creates the workspace first and then continues to Stripe Checkout for the selected paid plan. Subscription and billing management are available from Lurker settings after login.

Does the public website track extension activity?

No. The prepared GA4 module is for getlurker.com website measurement only and remains disabled until a measurement ID and consent decision are approved. It does not receive extension activity, Facebook content, or user-linked product data.

What happens when I uninstall the extension?

Chrome removes extension-managed browser storage. Uninstalling does not by itself delete observations or other records already submitted to the Lurker backend. A complete backend purge workflow is not yet verified.
